Who Is Dre?
Dre. It’s a name, or an abbreviation of a name, that has always bothered me. Well, not always, as it has only just been clocked by my radar within the last ten years, or less.
I guess the first person I heard of, called Dre, was Dr Dre. And then, only through Eminem (AKA Marshall Mathers) and the hype that surrounded him. I am not a pop-music person, so it’s rare that these things filter through to me at all. However, I actually like Eminem. His stuff appeals to my sense of humour.
I appear to have gone seriously off-topic, here. Let me wrap this bit up -
In finding a model called Dre, on Dick Show, I got to wondering what Dre is actually short for. So I Googled Dr Dre and found out his name is André. I can see why he might shorten it.
Not to be shortened (oh - Terry Wogan, himself, would have been proud of that link!) is the fabulous cock attached to our man, Dre.
