Yes, it’s the size thing, again. A Matter of Size (Part1) and A Matter of Size (Part 2) may have been a little flippant, but I guess I was still earning my blogging wings, so this one is gonna be a little different.
A reader emailed me, the other day, asking:
I have a question that I can’t seem to find the answer to. Do you know if penis enlargment pills, or patches actually work?
Well as I told this reader in reply, being female I have no personal experience of these things, and none of the men I know have either. Well, truth be told, no-one has ever admitted to using something to enlarge their penis, anyhoo… but I guess they wouldn’t, really.
So, I said I would do a little research and see what I could find out.
My first port of call was to trawl through my email junk-box as I, apparently, have a small penis and people are talking about it. Also, I need any med to make my woman happy. We’ve all had them… the emails that promise us a bigger manhood. Needless to say, the volume of these emails has diminished, now I want to read them. Bloody typical.
From what I can gather, you have several options, should you want your cock to be bigger. Pills, patches, stretching, pumping or surgery.
The Pill option: These all seem to be derived from natural ingredients, most of which are things that have been used since the dawn of time (ginseng, saw palmetto, etc) in one form or another, to make your dick seem bigger. I say seem, as I am sure that it feels bigger if blood volume is increased. I am personally unsure of the claims of up to 4″ increase in length. Let’s be honest, for some that is almost a doubling in size. I am also unsure that this could be a permanent result. If anyone has any experience, and wants to comment and let us know, please do! You’re looking at an average cost of $50 per month.
The Patch option: Again, this seems to be using the same ingredients as the pills. It’s trans-dermal medication… ie: you get the drug through your skin, which is a very effective way of administering any medication, in small controlled doses. It concerns me that you wear the patch on your belly - not very discreet. Especially if you are hairy… you’d probably have to shave a patch for it and if these patches make your skin react (like nicotine patches do) having just shaved a spot will make it even more sensitive, I’m guessing. Again, I can’t see that this would be permanent… but feel free to prove me wrong. I’ve found a months supply to be, on average, $60.
The Stretching option: I guess it’s all about how much you want a bigger willy. Are you prepared to strap your old man into a hefty device and keep it thus for a long period of time? I see that most recommend you to wear your device for a period of time, every day, for as long as possible. I have read about men wearing this kind of thing 24/7 which makes me think of people who wear stretching jewellery, to lengthen their neck or make a huge hole in their ear/lip/wherever. As such, I am sure that if you persist in hanging weights off your todger, or encasing it in some kind of traction device, you will get a longer flaccid length, eventually. But we are looking at stretching, here. My guess would be that where this may be permanent, when erect you’d not see any difference than before you stretched it. This kind of thing is available from about $30 upwards, with no upper limit to cost.
The Pumping option: Again, this seems to be very transient in results. You stuff your penis into a tube and pump the air out, to create a vacuum. Your penis fills the tube. Well it would, wouldn’t it? What happens when you release the vacuum? It shrinks back again. Go figure. OK, it may get incredibly big and hard for a time after using the pump, but you have just had your cock sucked by a piece of equipment specifically designed to do just that - something you have never had before, it’s gonna feel damn good, right? We’re looking at around $30 upwards, with no upper limit.
The Surgery option: Some will say that this is no different to a woman getting a boob job. I disagree. This is your penis. It has important functions to perform. Do you really want someone cutting it? I’m sorry, I’ve seen a couple of things on the telly about penile enhancement surgery and it and me wince. You’re gonna have to research this one without me!
All in all, you can see I am very skeptical of the results that are claimed by manufacturers. I suspect that they are preying on not only the insecurities of men, but the embarrassment factor anyone would have in trying to claim their money back from a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Would they make you try and prove your lack of increased size? Would you have to send photos and measurements?
Other than surgery, I doubt, very much, that any increase in size would be permanent. Again, I ask that if you have had any experience of enlargement, be it positive or negative… let us know, via the comments. However, I will delete any spamming - so don’t include links or ad’s, please.
